After that, our conversations started to be more often. Day after day, from the morning until night. After a few weeks went by then Ozone asked me to meet. We planned to meet on a Saturday (July 18th). I e-mailed him the directions from his place (Columbus, Ohio) to my place (Granby, Quebec). I told him to meet me at the gas station a few minutes from my house. I went down to the station at 4:30 pm as we agreed. I waited about 20 minutes to find out he wasn`t coming.

Thinking he'll never show, I go back home. When I got home, I looked on the phone to see if, by any chance he would have called. I see a phone number that I don't know. Probably him, lost somewhere in Granby. 5 minutes later he calls back, telling me he was at the Petro Canada, the station I told him on the e-mail. Because of me he wasn't at the right place. I tell him to come back from where he came and get to the Esso. I waited a few minutes then went back to the station.

I was walking through the field when he arrived. The meeting was " magic ", the first thing I felt was to fall into his arms. Then we went to a place where we could be relaxed and spent the evening together. We had a coffee at the St-Hubert Resturant and finally it was time for him to leave. That moment was the worse moment of the day. Ozone must go back to Ohio and I must stay in Granby.

After that day, our desire to be together grew day after day, until we decided that I come and live in Ohio. That was not easy. On august 7th, Ozone came to get me. I packed a few of my personal things to finally go to a motel to spend the night. The next day we left. An adventure like that can't happen without accidents, I won't tell you those details, but promise I will do it later. So, we have to go back to Granby, find another motel to spend the next night. There is only one room in all Granby. Having no choice, we rent it. Sunday after lunch (1 :30 pm) we hit the road again, we finally got here in Ohio at 3 :30 am. A long and memorable trip that we will never forget for the rest of our lifes.

I am now in Ohio, with Ozone and very happy to be here with the one I love. I never believed in that kind of meeting, now I do believe in it, and the only thing I can tell you today is : Believe in your dreams, never let go and live them to the end, no matter what.

I did give her an answer that night… "No" (well I was busy and the net was a mess and it was beyond my ability at the time to do), From the first day we talked afterwards (My compliments to our friend Gunnis, he did get us to talk) we spent most of our IRC time chatting. She`d `take me with her` to do applications for Cservice, and I`d take her window all over with me. We have tons of mails from each other and the first thing in the morning was always a mail to my sweety :) I`d get to work to have a reply, which made the day better and the sun brighter.

As to how we worked out this whole mess…. I couldn`t tell you. One day I decided I had to meet her face-to-face, you can only have so many feelings for an e-mail. So off I went (it is not unknown for me to hop on a bike and go for a 1000 miles or so just to go look or go fishing). Well like Marka said, it was `magic`. And at the end of a 900 mile trip, with a stop for a swim and a 2 hour nap, just seeing her…. Well use your imagination, I can tell you it falls far short of the real thing.

I knew I had to go back, didn`t want to but did. After that our relationship was much closer. We spent all of our time together. I don`t know if she said it or I said it, but it was decided one day for me to go get her. I have to tell you it was the best decision I`ve ever made.

Yes, the entire trip to go get her was like a class `B` spy movie, bad script but you can`t stop watching :) (Details in a forthcoming .html).

My `Magique-Marka` is that and more for me. We have a special relationship that is much much more than I ever expected. What`s in our future….. Well as they say time will tell, but I know in my heart and every time I look in her eyes, it`ll be together.
