8 to 10 saos* (crushed into small pieces) 1 grated carrot 1 grated zucchini 1 grated onion 3 rinds of bacon (diced) 1 cup of chicken 1 cup of grated cheese + 1/2 cup for top (optional) 1 1/2 cups of milk 4 eggs salt and pepper 1 teaspoon minced garlic (optional) 2 sliced tomatoes (optional)
Directions:
Mix all ingredients (except tomato and cheese for the topping) together in a bowl until well combined. Pour mixture into a greased pie dish (it should be liquidy).
Place sliced tomato on top and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a 425 degree oven for approximately 45 minutes. It is done when a knife inserted into the middle comes out clean.
Serve with a fresh tossed salad.
* Saos are an unsweetened dry cracker biscuit. They are about 6 cm square. Anything similar will work.
