The tailored jacket features gently puffed, early 1890īs leg-of-mutton sleeves. The neckline is cut in a deep V with a row of tiny silver buttons from waist to hem. Made from a beautiful textured crochet stitch, the jacket is trimmed with a genuive velvet collar and velvet and lace cuffs.
The tightly fitted English style vest has tiny buttons and buttonhole loops that acutally work. Small pieces of real lace are used to create the little lace `blouseī with jabot.
Riding skirts of the 1800īs were generally cut extra long so that a laides ankles and feet would not show while seated on her horse. Our laides skirt is generously designed with comfortable folds at the waist and a wide hemline. Made of matching textured crochet, the skirt is made to fall 2" below 11 1/2" fashion dollīs feet.
An adorable top hat is perched on her head complete with a tiny veil and delicate tulle bow. The dollīs hair is arranged simply in a tight Gibson Girl roll at the front with the ends brushed back and held with a ribon.
In her hand she carries a tiny riding crop.
